• THE MONTH OF GIVING.

    As many of you may know, a holiday tradition at CrossFit Outlaw North is helping those less fortunate than ourselves.

    We have done donations each of the six years of operation but coming up with our format we have used over the last 2 years has really allowed us to reach more people in need.

    HOW IT WORKS:

    Each week of December has a different focus. At the end of the week we bring everything over to the charity of choice.

    WEEK 1 – Jackets, Winter Essentials, Hygiene

    We’ll collect as many winter jackets, toques, gloves, sleeping bags, snow pants and so on. Adult or kid sizes. There are always people in need.
    We’ll also collect hygiene products such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, and so on.

    WEEK 2 – Food Drive

    This week is about collecting as many non-perishable food items as possible.
    Some people clear out their pantries, while others reserve a small portion of their grocery bill to help out.
    Over the last 2 years we have delivered nearly 800 lbs of food to Hamilton Food Share!

    WEEK 3 – Toy Drive

    No child should miss the magic of Christmas, but unfortunately it does happen. We’ll have a list of desired gifts from City Kidz to help with some ideas.
    City Kidz has been so appreciative each year, as we show up with car loads of toys and gifts for kids of all ages who may not receive any gifts otherwise.

    We’ll have lots more info in the gym, and reminders on the board of what’s happening each week.

    And of course, don’t forget the 6th Annual Members Christmas Party Saturday December 9th, at The Express Italian Eatery on Grays Rd.
